Peer Review – more impact, better results

EQAVET NRP in Slovenia has again introduced itself and its activities to providers of Vocational Education and Training (VET). During the Premiere Conference, organised on October 10th 2019 by CIRIUS Kamnik, the project results that refer to Peer Review Method, were presented. Peer Review is identified as one of the important tools for identification, assurance and development of quality in VET.  Representatives of EQAVET NRP presented experience in the field of conducting Peer Review in Slovenian VET, and the purpose and goals of operation of NRP.  Guests from Education Centre Dubrava from Croatia additionally contributed to successful exchange of knowledge and experience.

The participants of the conference agreed that Peer Review as a method of external evaluation provides all participants in the process with a lot of new knowledge and interesting experiences and in the same time offers to the audited school the opportunity to identify areas that have the potential for quality development, mutual learning, deeper cooperation with other institutions and recognition in wider environment.
