International Peer Training in Helsinki

In the past decade, quality of Vocational Education and Training become increasingly important in entire European territory. One particularly promising instruments of quality assurance and development in VET is Peer Review. In the course of the Leonardo Da Vinci Project in 2006 the group of experts developed The European Peer Review Manual which describes a European standard procedure for carrying out Peer Reviews. Manual was used as core material for Peer Training implemented on March 3rd 2020 in Helsinki (Finland).

EQAVET NRP in Slovenia has again introduced itself and its activities to providers of Vocational Education and Training (VET). During the Premiere Conference, organised on October 10th 2019 by CIRIUS Kamnik, the project results that refer to Peer Review Method, were presented. Peer Review is identified as one of the important tools for identification, assurance and development of quality in VET.
